Perfect Plank Workshop - with Paula Zambonato

Planks and push-ups are two of the most challenging exercises in any workout whether you do Pilates, TRX or Bootcamp. No matter how strong you feel they can seem like elusive exercises that you just can’t do well. Under Paula’s keen eye you will learn what specific muscles you are working, and strengthen while focusing on your own individual form. Packed with personal time and attention, get your questions answered and get ready to work. In the end, you might just learn to love them! Open to all levels.

Instructor: Paula Zambonato grew up in Brazil and completed her Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy and Pilates Certification in 2006. In 2008 she completed a post-graduate degree in Physiology of Exercise. Paula is also a certified Rehab Pilates for Lumbar; Shoulder Stabilization by STOTT Pilates and is now working on her Physiotherapy certification in Canada.


Eldoa Workshop - with Roselby Rodriguez

The ELDOA is a specific technique created by world-renowned osteopath, Dr. Guy VOYER. ELDOA (Étirements Longitudinaux Avec Decoaptation OsteoArticulaire), or more easily translated to Longitudinal Osteo-Articular Decoaptation of the Spine, are very specific postures compared to other techniques. Disc compression existing at any level of the spine can be addressed through a specific ELDOA exercise. Every class/workshop is designed to respect the proper progressions and order of the techniques as taught by Dr. Voyer to ensure quality. During the sessions, we will introduce different postures depending on the needs of those participating, and we will also cover the awareness of the body and mind during the practice encouraging clients to bring that knowledge home.
When we stretch the fascia that surrounds all the muscles, organs and nerves in our body restrictions are freed and a calm, balanced feeling takes over.

Take this 90 min super class with fellow like-minded Pilates enthusiasts (or perhaps, masochists, in this case). Building mindfully to several peak exercises, you will not only feel this workout but will help bring you to the next level of core training.
