The Power Pilates Differential
The major differentiating factor is Power Pilates own The Art of Teaching, it's one thing to understand an exercise from the choreography and the anatomy, but quite another to teach it to a client in a way that is understood and internalized in the body. Through voice, rhythm and transitions, you are able to teach a dynamic group class that keep your room filled and clients coming back.
You will learn how all the apparatus works together with Power Pilates integrative approach. You will be able to progress your clients safely, by learning exactly when it's time to add exercises to their sessions. The comprehensive program includes training in special cases teaching you to modify for injury without needing any separate training. Your 600hr Comprehensive certification means you hit the ground running able to teach group, private, and special cases on all the equipment, without need of further training
Studying at CORE Studio allows for small group sizes and lots of opportunities to fulfill your observation, personal practice and apprentice hours.
The bulk of in-class training takes place on the weekends. You will have access to a full studio available for apprentice hours and observation.
Maximum number of participants in class ensuring individual attention and feedback.
CECs are required only every two years and can be completed online.
All Power Pilates certification programs starts with Core Mat I, where you will be introduced to Power Pilates teaching tools, philosophy, and teaching formula. From here, you can either continue with intermediate and advanced matwork, before perhaps exploring injuries and special needs through continuing education workshops.
Or, you can continue with Power Pilates Comprehensive, either as a one year program, or as a module-based Apparatus I, II, and III program, at your own pace. Power Pilates’ 600 hour Comprehensive training is our most extensive program and covers beginner, intermediate and advanced level exercises utilizing all the Pilates apparatus, including Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Barrels, Ped-o-Pull and Magic Circle.
