Born in Russia, Alice Granovsky moved to Toronto, Canada at the age of 7. She began her training as a classical ballet dancer at the age of 9 with The National Ballet School of Canada and thus began her passion for the art of movement.

Upon graduation, she began her career in classical ballet in Seattle, WA at The Pacific Northwest Ballet Company. It was there that Alice was introduced to the technique of pilates, as a method of contrology, concentration, precision and centering that served Alice well in her professional dancing.

After receiving her certification in the full pilates repertoire, including matwork, reformer, cadillac and chair at Body Harmonics, she began teaching with CORE Studio. Alice has since then completed her training in rehabilitiative pilates, is now a key teacher with our therapeutic pilates program.
